September 7, 2013 - Fountain City, WI

Jeff Steenbergen and the Ultimate RaceCars house car went to the B-Mod Nationals at Mississippi Thunder Speedway this weekend and came home in 4th place out of 110+ cars. The car was run under the IMCA rules package and was the top finisher taking home an additional $2,000 on top of the $2,000 for 4th place.

Going into the race there was a lot of talk that the IMCA cars couldn’t compete with the USRA cars but the Ultimate RaceCars team showed that a good driver and a great car can overcome softer tires and light weight drivetrain components. This Saturday night Jeff will wrap up the Beaver Dam Raceway sportmod track championship.
